ClearCorrect in Orlando

ClearCorrect is an aligner system that is used to straighten a patient’s teeth. It is a simple alternative to traditional braces and is available to dentists or orthodontists. ClearCorrect consists of a series of trays that gradually shift the teeth. Each tray is manufactured so that the teeth are slighter straighter than the previous tray. Over time, the teeth move to their ideal positions for a new and improved look.

What You Should Know

Your dentist will send a patient record to the ClearCorrect laboratory, this includes digital scans, photographs and a prescription for the custom-made aligners. The ClearCorrect laboratory will design a 3-D model of the teeth and a treatment plan. The treatment plan will show the gradual realignment of the teeth from their current positions to their desired positions.

The treatment set-up is a computerized representation of the teeth before and after treatment. The doctor reviews their treatment set-up and will confirm this approval or state adjustment requests. The custom aligners are then created using the latest digital mapping and molding technology.

How it Works

ClearCorrect treatment consists of four phases of aligner therapy. Each phase requires a new set of aligners which are worn for two weeks at a time. ClearCorrect aligners are worn full time, this excludes eating, drinking, brushing and flossing.

As the teeth slowly adjust and align, patients will visit their dentist periodically for check-ups. During the check-up, your dentist will evaluate the patient’s progress and assign a new set of aligners.

Treatment time is dependent on the patient’s specific conditions and the extent of misalignment. The following three treatment options are available:

Unlimited: There is not a set amount of aligners provided. Patients are given as many sets of aligners needed to complete the treatment.

Limited 8-14: 8-14 sets of aligners are provided to patients.

Limited 1-7: 1-7 sets of aligners are provided to patients.

Who Can Benefit?

Adults and children can both benefit from ClearCorrect. Patients should consult with a dentist first to determine if ClearCorrect can treat their orthodontic conditions.

 Teeth crowding

 Gaps between the teeth

 Overbites

 Underbites

 Crooked or turned teeth

ClearCorrect Versus Traditional Orthodontics
